LAS VEGAS— At UBTech 2016, HARMAN and University Business, were honored to announce and congratulate five of the world’s most imaginative universities at the HARMAN Innovation Awards. The winning universities were recognized at one of higher education's most prominent technology events held at the Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada and took home $25,000 each in HARMAN Professional Solutions equipment.

The HARMAN Innovation Awards is an exclusive, global program designed to recognize higher education institutions for their innovative use of technology to enhance the way faculty teach and students learn; reduce service and support costs; and facilitate collaboration and increase energy efficiency. Congratulations to this year's SIX Innovation Awards Winners:

  • Active Learning – These projects feature an active learning space and demonstrate how the technology was implemented to make the space work for all learners. Congratulations to these schools and their indicated projects for being named 2016 ‘Active Learning’ Innovation Awards finalists:
