Videopro, one of Australia’s premier audiovisual equipment dealers, teamed up with Queensland’s ThreeOneFive Innovations to equip classrooms with AMX SVSI N1000 Series encoders and decoders, enabling educators to seamlessly stream lectures to multiple locations.

“To create a class-leading engagement space, we selected the AMX SVSI N1000 platform. Its ultra-low latency and flexible I/O are critical for lectures in this space,” said Chris Duckworth, Owner, ThreeOneFive Innovations. “Once the campus network was AVoIP-enabled, we were able to easily migrate the SVSI devices and leverage the N1000 platform to share images between teaching spaces. More recently, the rooms were combined to uphold social-distancing requirements. The AMX platform has delivered above and beyond our expectations, with excellent functionality and reliability.” Learn more

From Horses to High Rollers, South Point Casino Wins Big With AMX SVSI
The 24-story South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa complex in Las Vegas features 2,100 guest rooms, an expansive casino, a 4,400-seat equestrian arena, and exhibit hall.

To get a better idea of how wide-reaching this installation was, watch this video case study of the story.

The casino required a flexible, scalable AV solution that supported both its gaming floor and its sports book facilities, which host numerous live television and internet broadcasts. Nevada AV integrator TMG Systems, Inc. designed a sophisticated yet cost-effective solution based on an AMX SVSI networked AV system.

“My favorite feature of the AMX SVSI solution is the commissioning of the product,” says Rick Malone, Senior Design Engineer at TMG Systems. “It is very easy to implement. Especially with a large system like this, when you’re talking hundreds of endpoints, encoders and decoders, it can become quite daunting to implement a system like that. SVSI has made it very easy to implement a system of that size.” Learn more

“Now, we simply configure the system at our offices and then dispatch it to the customer, where it can be installed by a local partner… SVSI uses standard ethernet cables, which all electricians are familiar with, making everything so much easier. The client was so convinced, they decided to roll out AMX SVSI across all the bars they operate.”

AMX Streamlines Meeting-Tech Management at Italy’s Barton Park
Barton Group’s state-of-the-art Green Business Center, nestled in the verdant hills of Barton Park in the central Italian city of Perugia, hosts meetings, training courses, workshops and conferences for both staff and guests. Ensuring successful events meant incorporating a networked AV system that would provide seamless, effortless control over meeting-room technology. For maximum flexibility, engineering firm Intermark Sistemi centered system design around the AMX Enova DVX Presentation Switcher, including AMX SVSI Series AVoIP solutions for high-quality video conferencing, immediate transmission and scalable operation; and AMX touch panels for intuitive control.

“The many rooms required networked AV systems, and the equipment itself needed to blend into its surroundings aesthetically and unobtrusively. The AMX solutions supplied by Intermark Sistemi hit all these marks and more,” said Mario Canala, IT Manager, Barton Group.

“The most important aspects of the system design were flexibility and scalability without increasing cost,” added Devid Dantone, Internal Sales and Project Manager, Intermark Sistemi. “… the SVSI solutions make it easy to combine and switch rooms and sources for multifaceted events.” Learn more

O’Leary’s Brings the Sports Bar Experience Around the World
Swedish restaurant chain O’Leary, a franchise with operations across Europe and Asia, offers an American-style sports bar experience where patrons can watch games while socializing and dining. O’Leary’s needed a powerful AV solution that was also scalable, as it responds to increased demand and quickly rolls out new restaurants.

AMX SVSI N2400 Series encoders and decoders provide the most scalable 4K60 4:4:4 solution. at Stockholm’s O’Leary’s Sports Bar.

To provide each location with a seamless solution for controlling dozens of screens, O’Leary’s hired Swedish AV integration company Effektgruppen AB to equip facilities with AMX SVSI N2400 Series encoders and decoders and AMX control systems.

“In the past, we would travel to the bar and help out with the installation ourselves,” said Jörgen Olsson, Project Sales Specialist at Effektgruppen AB. “Now, we simply configure the system at our offices and then dispatch it to the customer, where it can be installed by a local partner. We have partners all around the world, in places like Miami, London, Amsterdam, Finland, Norway and so on. SVSI uses standard ethernet cables, which all electricians are familiar with, making everything so much easier. The client was so convinced, they decided to roll out AMX SVSI across all the bars they operate.” Learn more

“AMX controllers give us ultimate granular control to and from devices, allowing our programmers to create simple yet robust control concepts for each classroom.” – Carlos Lucio, Assistant Director, Instructional Media Services, Texas A&M University.

AMX Elevates Classroom Collaboration at Texas A&M
Texas A&M University—one of the largest college campuses in the US with more than 71,000 students—launched a large-scale campus expansion project that included a state-of-the-art Innovative Learning Classroom Building (ILCB). The facility, which houses 10 unique learning spaces hosting 72 to 605 students, required a sophisticated, facility-wide networked AV system. Consultants Avinext and Shalleck Collaborative outfitted the spaces with AMX encoders, decoders, controllers and touch panels for seamless control, as well as JBL Control Series loudspeakers and a Soundcraft Vi3000 console.

“AMX encoders and decoders provide us the flexibility to expand one classroom into nine others with the simple press of a button in the building video matrix,” said Carlos Lucio, Assistant Director, Instructional Media Services, Texas A&M University. “The computer in our largest arena can easily be pushed to all other classrooms. The encoder and decoder sets also include the AES67 audio feature set, which allows us to stream audio in the same manner to one classroom or all. AMX controllers give us ultimate granular control to and from devices, allowing our programmers to create simple yet robust control concepts for each classroom.” Learn more
