This includes their thoughts on <a href=\"https:\/\/jblpro.com\/en-US\/products\/vtx-a12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JBL VTX A12 Line Array Speakers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crownaudio.com\/en\/products\/i-tech-12000hd\">Crown I-Tech12000HD Amplifiers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/jblpro.com\/en-US\/products\/performance-manager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JBL Performance Manager<\/a> software, the <a href=\"https:\/\/jblpro.com\/en-US\/products\/line-array-calculator-iii\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JBL Line Array Calculator<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.martin.com\/en\/products\/mac-aura\">Martin MAC Aura fixtures<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.martin.com\/en\/product_families\/mac-viper\">Martin MAC Viper fixtures<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why do you like working with JBL VTX A12 Line Arrays and JBL Monitors?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cThe PA being used on Jason Mraz\u2019s tour is the JBL A12 line array system and it&#8217;s really sweet, it\u2019s awesome,\u201d said Jacob Lamb, Sound Technician &#8211; Sound Image. \u201cWorking with the A12, is super easy. If I have one other guy with me on stage I can fly an entire array of 12 boxes in about 10 or 15 <a class=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/pro.harman.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Mraz3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-6223\" src=\"https:\/\/pro.harman.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Mraz3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"472\" height=\"379\" \/><\/a>minutes just because of how easy their rigging is to use. And that includes getting the beam on, getting the angle set, getting all the cable and cable strain reliefed, getting it up in the air and positioned and angled. It\u2019s the easiest rigging I&#8217;ve ever used.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cSo for over 40 years now I\u2019ve been working with HARMAN products. JBL speakers are pretty much in everything, they\u2019re really good and have always been bulletproof,\u201d said Ettore \u201cE.T.\u201d Dedivitiis, Front of House <a class=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/pro.harman.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/mraz4-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-6236\" src=\"https:\/\/pro.harman.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/mraz4-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"342\" height=\"386\" \/><\/a>Manager \u2013 Sound Image. \u201cI always try to pick gear that works well and that can handle the abuse of the road because there are 20 different people handling our equipment every day and JBL just handles well and I love it.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What features do you most appreciate and why do you trust the Martin MAC Aura and MAC Viper fixtures to light Jason\u2019s shows?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cThe MAC Aura is kind of the industry standard for a small wash light now. They&#8217;re really easy to get and they&#8217;re really easy to work on. And the MAC Viper is sort of the same for a spotlight &#8211; they&#8217;re really easy to get and really reliable,\u201d Chris Coyle, Lighting Technician \u2013 Upstaging, Inc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/pro.harman.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/mraz5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-6237\" src=\"https:\/\/pro.harman.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/mraz5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"382\" height=\"339\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cI&#8217;m usually the one who&#8217;s dealing with the stagehands to hang the Viper. I do appreciate the handle on the bottom of the yolk. That is something that Martin has that I have not seen on a lot of other fixtures and for those of us who are not so vertically inclined, it is nice to be able to have the second handle to get it out,\u201d said Holly Lloyd, Lighting Technician \u2013 Upstaging, Inc. \u201cThe Mac Aura specifically has PowerCon passthroughs, which a lot of the other LED fixtures that were designed to compete with them, don&#8217;t have, which is a very nice feature for such a low-power consumption fixture.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cOn the Martin MAC Aura and Martin Mac Viper, I like their color mixing and I like the features on the Martin Mac Viper, which is the spot unit. I like the way the prism works &#8211; it&#8217;s just my workhorse light,\u201d said Joel Reiff, Lighting Director \u2013 Jason Mraz Tour. \u201cAuras are my main wash fixture. There are a lot of lights out there that have color mixing that I don&#8217;t like. For some people that doesn&#8217;t make a difference, for me it does.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nWhat are some of the benefits of being able to configure JBL and Crown products with tools like JBL Performance Manager and JBL Line Array Calculator software?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cI like the combination of being able to use JBL speakers with Crown amplifiers and HARMAN software. Nowadays the sound is just getting better and better and better, said Satoshi (Son) Nisimura, Front of House System Tech \u2013 Sound Image.<a class=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/pro.harman.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/mraz7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-6246\" src=\"https:\/\/pro.harman.com\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/mraz7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"411\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cThe cool thing is that once Son is done setting all the angles in the software, a little QR code pops up and I can just walk up with my phone and scan it.
