Now that we’ve successfully navigated another InfoComm, it’s more apparent than ever that there’s always space for innovation. In physical performance. In user experience. In business model.

Innovation is all around. Not just with manufacturing but with integration, consulting and even within the client community of technology users. Everyone wants something more. And everyone’s working to achieve more.

People want to see more detail. They want to hear more detail. Louder. Crisper. They want to be seen and heard better than they ever have. They want more color and better light. They want to create energy where it doesn’t exist and shape emotion and behavior to fit a desired outcome. They want more capabilities and higher security. Price needs to match budget. And everything MUST be simple. Simple to put together. Simple to make work. Simple to use.

It’s invigorating to be in an industry that is digging deeper to anticipate and solve larger problems. To further expand ecosystems and interoperability through increased standards adoption. To collaborate through partnership. To innovate.

What’s even more refreshing is being part of an industry that actually informs its consumers, that makes factual information easily attainable, and that demonstrates integrity through simple action. This isn’t an era where technology consumers tolerate parlor tricks and lies. Seeing is believing. InfoComm provides this delicious format for customers to see how manufacturers position their products to demonstrate the quality of their integrity as much as the quality of their product.

Visitors came by our booth to see and hear the truth. We demonstrated our networked AV thought leadership, highlighting not only our superior technical performance, but the unparalleled comprehensiveness of our entire end-to-end solution. We showcased our architectural lighting innovations and discussed how we bring large tour sound performance and rigging simplicity to smaller spaces.  In our commitment to  deliver more capability with less product, we introduced several new small space switching solutions, requiring a more cost effective solution.  We expanded our support for standards-based audio networking and supported varying networked amplifier application needs. And, we gave customers more ways to shape mood and atmosphere with quieter, more powerful, and more rugged lighting fixtures for bars, nightclubs, and other entertainment spaces.

In case you missed us at the show, below is a highlight of the products and solutions we launched and showcased at InfoComm. Because the truth is, whether it’s playing, learning, working, or worshiping, everything is better with great audio, video, and lighting.

Furthering our dedication to the connected guest experience is our new JBL Pro SoundBar PSB-1. Everyone loves great audio, as long as it’s not coming from a neighboring room. The PSB-1 is designed to deliver premium audio to hotel guestrooms and cruise ship staterooms while limiting sound transference to neighboring rooms.

Our Architectural Lighting demonstration featured our Martin Exterior Linear QUAD Graze and Cove lighting systems and our Martin Exterior Projection 1000 with full CMY color mixing. This product video showcases the significant impact that architectural lighting can have on a building’s exterior.

We’ve proven that AMX, BSS, and JBL products can work cohesively together to empower productive meetings with solutions that are cost-effective, easy to install, manage and maintain. From our new BSS DCP-555 Template-Based Processor, and AMX CT Series Connectivity and Transport Kits as well as our popular AMX Acendo collaboration solutions, we are removing more technology barriers to ensure people across the globe can meet with ease.

The JBL Professional VTX A-Series line arrays were designed to address the differing needs of live entertainment professionals. At InfoComm we expanded the line to offer a more complete solution with the addition of the VTX A8 dual 8” compact line array and the new VTX B18 single 18” compact subwoofer.

Our retail demonstration featured a collaborative Samsung Nexshop and HARMAN solution to create state-of-the-art retail environments that create targeted and dynamic in-store experiences.

To address the varying technology and budgetary needs of education, we introduced several new cost effective switching products, including our new VPX 4×1 & 7×1 Presentation Switchers, Precis 8×8 Fixed Matrix Switchers, and our more feature-packed AMX Incite Presentation System.

Our JBL VLA Compact Line Arrays bring long-throw capabilities in an all-weather, compact size to support more stadiums and arenas while we debuted three new, lower-wattage Crown DriveCore Install DA Series amplifiers that all speak Dante and support new Dante Domain Manager (DDM) firmware enhancements.

Our commitment to deliver increasingly innovative networked  AV solutions that support a range of 4K over 1 GB, In-Room, LAN, and WAN needs was discussed in our  AMX Networked AV demonstration.

As always, thank you for your support at InfoComm 2018 and beyond. It’s a very exciting time to be a part of HARMAN Professional Solutions. We appreciate your continued partnership and look forward to additional opportunities to serve you better.
