Rising above Bangkok’s skyline, Grande Centre Point Lumphini was designed to serve as a luxury, multi-purpose hospitality destination, hosting hotel guests and events from corporate meetings to large-scale banquets and live entertainment performances. Across two floors and nine event venues, each space required consistent audio performance despite varying room sizes, layouts and use cases, while public areas demanded seamless background coverage. The hotel needed a unified system that could deliver clarity, flexibility and simple control across all environments, enabling staff to manage complex events without technical barriers.
Mahajak Development Co., Ltd. designed and installed a full Harman Professional system centered on JBL Professional loudspeakers, Crown amplifiers, Martin Professional lighting, AMX control and BSS signal processing. The main event spaces feature JBL SRX910 line arrays paired with SRX928 subwoofers for full-range reinforcement, while additional JBL BRX308 line arrays and BRX325SP subwoofers provide scalable configurations to adapt to different room layouts.
Across meeting rooms, JBL Control Series ceiling loudspeakers, including Control 16C/T, Control 18C/T and Control 47LP models, are combined with JBL Control 19 ceiling subwoofers to ensure consistent speech intelligibility and coverage. More than 95 JBL Control Series loudspeakers and JBL GSF6 landscape speakers extend audio throughout lobbies, corridors and public areas.
Crown CDi amplifiers and BSS BLU-806DA and BLU-100 processors provide system-wide routing, tuning and optimization, forming the backbone of a networked audio infrastructure. System design and tuning were supported by JBL Venue Synthesis and JBL Performance Manager software, enabling precise modeling and commissioning across multiple room configurations.
Mahajak also installed 8 Martin MAC Aura PXL fixtures—delivering immersive wash lighting with detailed pixel‑mapping effects—and 4 Martin ERA 150 Wash fixtures, providing flexible, high‑quality illumination suitable for conferences, banquets, staged presentations, and more.
To streamline operation, AMX NX-2200 control processors and AMX Varia-SL80 wall-mounted touch panels centralize system management, allowing staff to recall presets for different event types. Portable JBL PRX ONE systems provide additional flexibility for temporary setups, ensuring consistent performance across all event scenarios.
The integrated system delivers consistent, intelligible audio across all event spaces and public areas, supporting a wide range of applications from conferences to large-scale social events. With the AV-over-IP backbone, Dante networking and centralized control layout, staff can quickly adapt room configurations and audio settings through centralized control, reducing setup time and simplifying day-to-day operation.
By combining JBL Professional, Crown, BSS, Martin, and AMX solutions into an integrated system, Grand Centre Point Lumphini now hosts a scalable, networked audio solution that supports both current operations and future expansion. The result is a cohesive audio environment that enhances guest experiences throughout the property while giving the hotel a flexible platform to accommodate evolving event demands.
