At its Atlanta Global Support Center, Inspire Brands needed a state-of-the-art auditorium capable of supporting executive briefings, internal communications, and high-profile brand events. The space, used regularly by teams representing Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC, required a system that could deliver clarity, coverage, and impact across its wide seating area. With tall ceilings, reflective surfaces, and challenging rear corners, Inspire’s AV team identified intelligibility and even sound distribution as top priorities.
Inspire partnered with Vision2 Marketing and AV Tech Media Solutions to deploy a HARMAN Professional system anchored by JBL SRX900 Series loudspeakers. The design included compact JBL SRX906LA line array elements, which provided full-spectrum clarity while blending seamlessly into the room’s architecture. Low-frequency reinforcement came from JBL VRX918SP powered subwoofers, while JBL AC16 compact loudspeakers were used for front fills to ensure consistent coverage across every seat. Crown DCi Networked Amplifiers were chosen to drive the JBL AC16’s, with advanced DSP features and real-time monitoring for a seamless integration with the JBL ecosystem.
“We chose the JBL SRX900 Series for its combination of tour-grade sound, scalable deployment, and streamlined integration,” said Rick Couch, Senior AV Support Technician at Inspire. “Its compact form factor paired with powerful output made it the ideal choice for the auditorium’s size and acoustic demands.”
In addition, to address reflections and coverage inconsistencies, the AV team leveraged JBL Performance software with data imported from JBL Venue Synthesis to tune the system with precision.
The upgraded auditorium system delivered consistent, intelligible sound that elevated Inspire’s internal and external events. “Hard reflections and inconsistent coverage were some of the biggest challenges,” said Couch. “The SRX900’s focused dispersion pattern helped eliminate problem areas and brought speech intelligibility to every seat.”
Feedback confirmed the installation’s success. “Users have commented on the clarity of speech during presentations, the evenness of sound across the room, and the system’s professional quality,” Couch said. The auditorium has quickly become a preferred venue within the facility, enabling Inspire to host impactful meetings and presentations with confidence.
