The NAMM Show wanted a comprehensive audio and lighting system to buttress performances from world-renowned percussionist Sheila E. and blues guitarist Johnny Lang on its GoPro® stage at the Grand Plaza.
Working with independent live sound engineers Eric Stalhammer and Rebecca Wilson, the team designed and installed a custom HARMAN audio system that featured JBL V20 loudspeakers, S25 and G28 subwoofers, JBL VTX F Series fill speakers and stage monitors. The system also included VERTEC® VT4886 subwoofers, Crown Audio VRACK microphones and a full Martin entertainment lighting system operated by an M1 programmable controller. San Diego-based MSI Production Services provided system support and logistics.
“We are very pleased to be part of the NAMM 2014 GoPro Stage at the Grand Plaza, where attendees can look forward to a good time, great music and experience the very latest in live sound and lighting technology.” – Brian Pickowitz, Associate Director, Live Sound and Rental Systems, HARMAN Professional
