Sialkot Medical College in Pakistan sought to equip its 500-seat multipurpose auditorium with an audio system capable of supporting a wide range of academic, institutional and entertainment programming. Throughout the year, the venue hosts lectures, medical seminars, formal ceremonies, film screenings and live performances, each requiring different levels of speech intelligibility, musical clarity and low-frequency reinforcement. To accommodate these varied applications, the college needed a flexible audio solution that could deliver consistent coverage throughout the auditorium while supporting presenters, performers and multimedia content through a single integrated system.
Working with Sialkot Medical College, distributor and system integrator KYAF Corporation designed and installed Pakistan’s first JBL Professional BRX Series system, supported by AKG microphones, Crown amplification and Soundcraft mixing.
The main system features eight JBL Professional BRX308-LA line array elements configured in two flown arrays of four on either side of the stage, supported by two JBL Professional BRX325SP powered subwoofers for low-frequency reinforcement. Four JBL Professional VXP715 loudspeakers positioned along the auditorium’s side walls provide supplementary coverage, while two JBL Professional EON712 powered loudspeakers serve as stage monitors for presentations and live performances.
To support the auditorium’s diverse programming, KYAF also selected two AKG CGN321 STS microphones for lectures and formal presentations, two AKG WMS470 wireless microphone systems for mobile presenters, two AKG D5 microphones for speech and vocals, six AKG P4 instrument microphones and one AKG P2 low-frequency instrument microphone for live performances. A Soundcraft FX16ii mixing console manages microphones and program sources, while a Crown XTi 4002 amplifier supports the reinforcement system.
The completed JBL Professional system delivers consistent speech intelligibility, balanced coverage and low-frequency performance throughout Sialkot Medical College’s auditorium, allowing the venue to transition between academic presentations, ceremonies, film screenings and live entertainment without requiring separate audio systems.

By combining JBL Professional loudspeakers with AKG microphones, Crown amplification and Soundcraft mixing, KYAF Corporation delivered an integrated audio solution that supports the college’s academic and entertainment programming while providing consistent performance and operational flexibility for future events.
