Located in the Do Son tourist district of Hai Phong, Vietnam, the Wyndham Ocean Dragon is a luxury 5-star hotel offering breathtaking views of the South China Sea. As part of the renowned Doi Rong International KDL Project, it is a premier tourist destination in Vietnam. The hotel aimed to deliver 5-star experiences for guests in its meeting rooms and hired leading integrator TNNSI to install a state-of-the-art, easy-to-use AV system. TNNSI was tasked with providing a comprehensive HARMAN Professional networked audio and control system to meet the hotel’s high standards.
TNNSI installed a range of HARMAN Professional networked audio and control solutions using JBL speakers, AKG microphones, Crown amplifiers, and AMX network and control devices. The installation included:
- AMX Network and Control Solutions: AMX Precis Video Switcher, NX-2200 Netlinx NX Integrated Controller, Acendo Core, Modero 10" Touch Screen, and AMX video transceivers.
- Audio Equipment: AKG CS3 conference microphones, Crown DCi Series amplifiers, and JBL Control 16C/T ceiling tile speakers.
TNNSI chose the AMX Precis video switcher for its fully featured HDMI video routing and affordability. The NX-2200 NetLinx NX Integrated Controller offered a scalable platform that combines high performance and comprehensive network security features, accommodating the diverse needs of customers hosting events at the venue. The Modero touch screen served as a single point of control, integrating all system functionality into a single interface, allowing the control team to streamline all devices with intuitive user selections from one elegant and unobtrusive touchscreen station tablet.
The integration included the AMX control system and the AKG Audio Conference System, enabling seamless transitions between local and online meetings. This integration significantly improved meeting operations, allowing for smooth control and monitoring of signals from AKG, JBL, and Crown products.
